We find ourselves in an unprecedented situation with the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. In these uncertain times, Hillwood Country Club’s Board met to review the Patrick Hale Golf tournament in June, along with several other events. With an abundance of caution, they ultimately decided that they would be unable to host our golf event. Hillwood felt with all the uncertainty, there was no legal or practical way to move forward with our event. While this does not come as a big surprise, we are all disappointed. The Patrick Hale Tournament is one of the highlights of our year and this is such a wonderful event on many levels. We will look forward to next year’s tournament, which is scheduled for Monday, June 7, 2021 at Hillwood Country Club. Should you have any questions, please contact Langhorne Coleman at Langhorne.Coleman@Montgomerybell.edu or 615-369-5364. We hope you and your family stay healthy, and thank you for your support of the Patrick Hale Memorial Fund.
A 1992 graduate of MBA, Patrick Hale loved MBA, especially the sense of camaraderie and fun that continued well after graduation. He was tragically killed in a hit-and-run accident in New York in 2003. Since that time, his friends and classmates have honored him through this tournament. Over $1,000,000 has been raised for the Patrick Hale Fund since its inception.
"The Patrick Hale Fund is about investing in young men to give them the values and qualities that will influence them over a lifetime." -Walter Hale ('61), father of Patrick.
