MBA Opens Season With Convincing Win

On Tuesday, the MBA JS 'A' basketball team opened the season with a 56-26 win over Grace Christian Academy.  The Big Red got into foul trouble early in the game, but was able to separate mid-way in the 2Q to lead 29-17 at halftime.  In the 2nd half MBA continued its momentum by playing smarter defense and lengthened ts lead.  Clairborne Richards led MBA with 13 points, while Peyton Alexander and H. McIllwain added 8 points.  The Big Red is back in action on Saturday in Memphis against Memphis Bellevue.
