Quick Tips for Library Visits
The goal of the library is to make the research experience valuable for both the learner and the teacher. So to facilitate that, here are a few suggestions for a smooth class research process.
1. Contact the librarians at least a week in advance to schedule library visits. That also allows us to make an online LibGuide for the research project.
2. Give the librarians a few minutes at the beginning of the visit to brief the class and introduce the research process (we can also visit your classroom the day before your library visit to accomplish this step).
2. Manage the research process as a technology-intensive experience. Try to communicate and work with us about the class's technology needs so that we can plan to have sufficient resources available.
