MBA places 3 wrestlers at the Prep Slam

The team finished 13th place out of 45 of the toughest prep schools in the south and eastern US. The team was led by some great performances from Joseph Tarquine, Bryce Wittman, and Dominic Fisher. Individual placers:

 

- Joseph Tarquine defeated a multiple time Texas state champion and National Prep All-American on his way to a gutty 4th place finish.

 

- Bryce Wittman defeated a defending Georgia state champion en route to his 3rd place finish in what was the toughest weight class of the tournament.

 

- Dominic Fisher, having just recently come back from football, busted everyone's bracket as he rumbled his way to a 3rd place finish after being unseeded.

 

* This tournament marked the first time in several years that the team finished ahead of rival Father Ryan in a tournament. We'll continue with action next Friday and Saturday at the Father Ryan Invitational tournament.
