MBA Tops Ensworth to Advance to Team Tournament Semifinals

MBA defeated Ensworth in the state team quarterfinals on Monday afternoon. The match started with singles play and victories came from Baylor Sai at 1-singles 6-2, 6-0, from Anson Anderson at 4-singles 6-0, 6-0, from Sims Lance at 5-singles 6-0, 6-1, and from Michael Nelson at 6-singles 6-0, 6-0. Richard Cummins was leading at 2-singles 6-3, 1-0 and Hugh Graham was leading at 3-singles 6-2, 3-0 but those sets were stopped when the overall match was clinched. MBA advances to play the winner of MUS-Lipscomb in the team semifinals on May 21st.
