MBA in 2nd Place After Day One of DII State
On day one of the DII AA State Golf Championships, MBA shot 302, eight shots behind Baylor, and one shot ahead of both Ensworth and McCallie. The soggy fairways and long round (5 1/2 hours) disrupted the routines of many players, and we were not immune. Adjusting well to those conditions though was Bradford Cummins who shot 1 one-under par 71, one shot behind the individual leader. Also, Reid Smith had one of his best rounds of the year with a 3-over par 75. Rounding out the scoring for the Big Red was Joseph Robertson with a 78, and Max Hastings with a 78.
