2 Former Players and Coach Owen Make 1960's All-Decade Team

The Tennessean is releasing high school football All-Decade teams to remember some of the great players in the Middle Tennessee area. The 1960's All-Decade team features two former MBA players along with legendary Coach Tommy Owen.
   
Jeff Peeples was selected as a running back for the team. Peeples was earlier recognized as one of the 50 Greatest Players of all time in Nashville. He was also the number one prospect in the state of Tennessee and signed with Vanderbilt.

Sandy Haury was selected as an offensive lineman. Haury was the number one prospect in Nashville and one of the top recruits in the nation. He also signed with Vanderbilt.
   
Tommy Owen is the all-time winningest coach in MBA history and led the Big Red to state championships in 1967 and 1968.
