Dear MBA Families:
It's great to have an opportunity to reach out to you on behalf of the Parent Alliance Group (PAG) of MBA!
I am Sidney Curry, MBA Alumni Parent of Miles Curry (’14) and past President of PAG. At the request of Saundra B. Curry (interim President), we are teaming up with current PAG parents and alumni to officially launch the 2017 MBA/PAG Annual Holiday Fruit Sale. That said...
WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT!
Click on the video of PAG Holiday Fruit Sale announcements to the right from D'On Coofer (’16) — aka “Mr. Tangelo" — and AC Carr (’15). This announcement played for the student body on October 9 during Assembly as senior Tim Buchanan (the 5-Time Top Seller of the annual fruit sale) launched the sale.
Many of you know of PAG, but for those of you who don't, the mission is as follows...
The Parent Alliance Group’s mission is to provide resources for parents to assist in the development of our sons into “gentlemen, scholars and athletes” and to enrich the diversity in the MBA community.
Personal and professional development programs (Life Skills Enrichment Sessions), are essential to building a well-rounded young man upon graduation.
Advancing throughout MBA with diversity of thought, enrichment, and learning among students, teachers, staff and parents are important tenants of aiding MBA's strength of community, as well as preparing our young students to compete at the highest levels on the world stage. Since inception, PAG has been instrumental in providing exposure, training, networking, life-skills, community involvement, and support to hundreds of boys during and after their MBA experience.
In addition since its inception, PAG has made a donation to the MBA Annual Fund.
The MBA/PAG Holiday Fruit Sale (affectionately known as “Tangelo Time”) is PAG's largest fundraiser of the year and supports the many activities previously mentioned. Tangelo Time presents a unique opportunity for the MBA community to conveniently order fresh Florida fruit — just in time for the holidays for friends and family.
This year, we want to shatter the previous record of 650 boxes! We can accomplish this with each of you meeting the 3 box challenge issued by D’On, AC, and Tim.
We have three weeks starting October 9 and ending October 27. Just fill out the forms (received by your son in Advisory), collect the money and drop off during lunch on October 16, 23 and 27. For your convenience, orders can also be placed online using the link in the box to the right. Feel free to forward the link to family, friends and coworkers.
