Welcome to the 122nd year of MBA Football! This year will be unique in many ways as we all attempt to navigate the pandemic. MBA is taking all reasonable steps to protect both the players and the fans by complying with CDC guidelines, as well as guidelines outlined by state and local health officials and the TSSAA.
To that end, there will be significant limitations on seating at all home games until further notice. Specifically, in accordance with Metro Nashville Department of Health guidelines, attendance is limited to the following: each student athlete, coach, and manager will be allotted two tickets. We also plan to allow our seniors to attend home games. There will be no other faculty or student body attendance and no bands. No tickets will be sold to the public and no money will be collected. Alumni passes will not be honored at this time.
Visiting teams will also be limited to two tickets per athlete, manager, and coach.
Bathrooms will be open, but concession stands will be closed.
All attendees must wear masks at all times and remain socially distanced in the stands pursuant to TSSAA guidelines. The TSSAA also requires that signs be posted instructing attendees not to enter if they are suffering from any listed Covid-19 symptoms. We will check temperatures for all attendees, and anyone with a fever of 100.4 or higher will not be admitted.
We are sorry for the disruption to our normal Friday night football activities, but our hope is that these guidelines will allow us to keep the school open for in person learning as long as possible and play as many games as possible.
