Former MBA baseball player Andrew Triggs ('07) made his Major League debut for the Oakland A's last night. Triggs pitched a scoreless eighth inning retiring all three batters he faced. He began the inning by striking out Tyler Collins, which was followed by a popout from Alex Aviles. Triggs closed the inning by getting Jose Iglesias to lineout to centerfield.
The Oakland A's are currently 10-10 on the season and are only a half game out of first place in the West Division.
