Perry Wallace Kicks off MBA's 150th School Year

MBA was honored to have Perry Wallace speak at assembly on the opening day of the 150th year of the school. Wallace is the first African-American scholarship athlete to compete in the Southeastern Conference and played basketball at Vanderbilt from 1967-1970.
Wallace is the subject of the book Strong Inside, written by Andrew Maraniss, who also spoke this morning. Strong Inside was chosen as this year's All-School Read at MBA.
