Glen and Habermann Debate National Champions

MBA 8th graders Atticus Glen and Julian Habermann finished first against a field of teams from 30 states and 5 countries in the Middle School Debate National Championship hosted by the National Speech and Debate Organization in Dallas, Texas this week. After compiling a record of five wins and one loss in the preliminary rounds, Glen and Habermann did not lose a ballot in route to being crowned the Middle School Debate National Champions. One long time rival coach called Glen and Habermann "the best middle school team I have seen in years." Glen and Habermann were also named the 4th and 6th best individual speakers of the tournament.

The win comes on the heels of MBA freshmen Jack Capizzi and Ben Jablonski winning the freshmen national debate championship in March.
