Father’s Connection Breakfast
On Friday, September 26th at 7 a.m. in the Dead Poets Society Room Dr. James Wellborn, a local expert on adolescents and parenting, will speak at the Father Connection breakfast on ways dads can shepherd their sons through adolescence to become responsible, caring and productive men. Dr. Wellborn will talk with fathers about masculinity and manhood in the modern era and provide ideas about composing a personalized letter that defines and supports their son’s path toward manhood. The September 26th meeting with dads only will set up those who participate for a future meeting with their sons on Friday, October 24th
when there will be a meaningful joint father son program. Breakfast will be provided for both events and admission to the program is $10.
