Join Us for the Thanksgiving Breakfast

We hope that you (and your son or grandson) will join us for a casual gentlemen only breakfast as we honor this year’s Distinguished Alumnus R. A. Dickey (’93) and this year’s Distinguished Service Award recipient Jimmy Webb (’66). The breakfast will be Wednesday, November 23 at 7:30 a.m. in the Paschall Theater.

R.A. Dickey's 14-year Major League Baseball career includes stints with the Texas Rangers, Seattle Mariners, Minnesota Twins, New York Mets, and Toronto Blue Jays. His 20-6 season with the Mets earned Dickey the 2012 Cy Young Award as the most outstanding pitcher in the National League.

Jimmy Webb, Class of 1966, has served as President of Freeman Webb, Inc. (a real estate brokerage, acquisition, and management company) since he and his partner Bill Freeman founded the company in 1979. In addition to providing business management and financial and insurance expertise to the company, Webb is an active supporter of community and charitable organizations. He is a past-chairman of the YMCA of Middle Tennessee (the ninth largest YMCA in the United States), and is past-president of Sister Cities of Nashville, and is a founding and current member of the Executive Board of the Nashville Zoo, which opened in 1991. He served as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Montgomery Bell Academy from 2005–2013.
