Greg has been a teacher and coach since 1985. After graduating from Austin Peay with a B.S. in Biology, he coached track and cross-country, and taught science at both the middle school and high school levels at Battle Ground Academy for 18 years. He received his Masters Degree in Biological Sciences from Vanderbilt University in 1998 and came to MBA in 2003. At MBA, Greg is the Director of Admission and Financial Aid, teaches science, and assists with junior school track, and cross-country. Greg and his wife, Betsy, have a son, Matt, who graduated from MBA in 2008, and a daughter, Allison, who graduated from Harpeth Hall in the class of 2010.
D’Onshuv’e, MBA class of 2016, has returned to the Hill after graduating from Rhodes College with a B.A. in International Business in 2020 and from Northwestern State University of Louisiana with a Master’s Degree in Sports Administration in 2022. While at MBA, D’Onshuv’e played football, wrestled, and threw discus for the Track & Field team every year from 7th grade until graduation. Following graduation, D’Onshuv’e continued playing football being named a captain and an All-American both his junior and senior seasons. Along with football, he crossed into a fraternity called Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. during his freshman year that devotes energy to pouring back into the community. While at Northwestern State, he coached the Defensive Linemen the first year and the Linebackers the following year. He has since returned home to pour back into the MBA students just as much as the MBA family poured into him. He has returned as a part of the Admission Office and Diversity & Inclusion Office starting July 2022. While here, he is also a coach for the 7th Grade football team and the Varsity Track & Field team.

Mr. Mike Martin
Asst Director of Athletics, Director of Camps, Head Middle School Baseball Coach
Mike is starting his 15th year at MBA and has been a baseball coach and color commentator for the football broadcasts for 21 years on the Hill. Currently, he serves as the Director of Camps & Leagues and website content manager, and works with both the Admissions Office and Alumni & Development. Mike is a 1998 graduate from MBA and attended Belmont University where he was a 4-year letter winner on the baseball team. He is the head coach for the Middle School baseball program this Spring. Mike is married to Callen and they have twins named Scott and Selma.
