Greg has been a teacher and coach since 1985. After graduating from Austin Peay with a B.S. in Biology, he coached track and cross-country, and taught science at both the middle school and high school levels at Battle Ground Academy for 18 years. He received his Masters Degree in Biological Sciences from Vanderbilt University in 1998 and came to MBA in 2003. At MBA, Greg is the Director of Admission and Financial Aid, teaches science, and assists with junior school track, and cross-country. Greg and his wife, Betsy, have a son, Matt, who graduated from MBA in 2008, and a daughter, Allison, who graduated from Harpeth Hall in the class of 2010.
Before coming to MBA, Kit spent 11 years working at LifeWay Christian Stores as the administrative assistant to the director of the Direct Marketing Department. Before that she spent six years working at Dye, Van Mol and Lawrence Public Relations. She came to MBA in October 2004 and began work in the Admission Office where she has day-to-day contact with prospective and current students and parents. Kit is married to Price Lechleiter, managing broker at the Green Hills branch of Pilkerton Realtors. She has two grown sons, Lex, who lives in Chattanooga and her younger son, Logan, who recently graduated from college.

I joined the Admission Office in August 2013, and I'm delighted to be a part of a team devoted to sharing MBA's tremendous opportunities with prospective families from all over the middle Tennessee area. I grew up in Nashville and graduated from Harpeth Hall in 1987. I received my B.A. in history from the University of Virginia in 1991, and my M.Ed. from Vanderbilt in 1995. In addition to my responsibilities in the admission office, I serve on the board of Tennessee Federation for Children and am involved at St. George’s Episcopal Church, Land Trust for Tennessee, Nations Ministry, and KIPP Academy Nashville. My husband, Jack, and I have three children - Bradford, a junior at Washington and Lee University, Jack, a sophomore at Vanderbilt University, and, Helen, a freshman at Harpeth Hall School.
Mr. Mike Martin

Mike is starting his 10th year at MBA and has been a baseball coach and color commentator for the football broadcasts for 15 years on the Hill. Currently, he serves as the Director of Camps & Leagues and website content manager, and works with both the Admissions Office and Alumni & Development. Mike is a 1998 graduate from MBA and attended Belmont University where he was a 4-year letter winner on the baseball team. He will be the head coach for the Middle School baseball program this Spring. Mike has been married for over 11 years to Callen and they have six year old twins named Scott and Selma.
In 2012, Jamie returned to MBA for his second stint, entering into his 17th year on the Hill. At MBA, Jamie works in the admissions office in addition to coaching football and track on the varsity level. Originally from Oak Ridge, TN, Jamie participated in both track and football at Middle Tennessee State University under legendary coaches Dean Hayes and Boots Donnelly. Jamie has one son, Cade and lives in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
