The MBA Summer Scholars Program is a free, two-week experience designed for rising 5th and 6th grade boys from Metro Nashville Public Schools and surrounding area public schools. Hosted on MBA’s campus and taught by our own faculty, the program introduces boys to a rich blend of academics, arts, and character development in a supportive and engaging environment.
Each day, students rotate through classes in math, science, English, music, and art, while also taking part in conversations that encourage them to grow as leaders and friends. A hearty lunch is provided daily in the MBA dining hall, giving boys a chance to experience campus life together.
Families also have the option to enroll their sons in an afternoon sports program, free of charge, from 3:30–5:00 p.m. During the first week, boys will learn tennis, and in the second week, squash, both taught by MBA coaches and alumni. Equipment is provided, and boys are picked up at 5:00 p.m. on those days.
