No two days are exactly alike at MBA—but each one is filled with purpose, challenge, and discovery. From morning advisory to afternoon extracurriculars and everything in between, our students are immersed in a community that values intellectual growth, character, and connection.

7:30 a.m.

Optional Help Session

Arrive early to ask questions about homework or grab breakfast in the Dining Hall with friends. 

7:50 a.m.

Advisory

Greeted by their advisors and classmates, students begin the day with announcements, reflection, and connection.

8:00 a.m.

English

High school students might be exploring Hamlet, while 7th graders are honing foundational skills in Grammar and Vocabulary.

8:53 a.m.

Math

Seniors could be solving integrals in Multivariable Calculus while 8th graders tackle algebraic expressions and real-world problems.

9:40 a.m.

Activity Period

Time to recharge, grab a cookie, catch up with friends, or attend a student-led club meeting—like MathCounts, Garden Club, Service Club, or Beekeepers. On Mondays during Activity Period, students gather for assembly.

10:13 a.m.

Science

From chemistry experiments in our high school labs to hands-on investigations in 7th grade physical science, students apply critical thinking to the natural world.

11:03 a.m.

Study Hall

A quiet time to read, complete assignments, or meet with teachers for extra support.

Lunch

Lunch with friends in the dining hall—where conversation, connection, and community continue.

12:43 p.m.

History

Students dive into topics ranging from the French Revolution in AP European History to global cultures and the roots of modern America in middle school classrooms.

Description

1:33 p.m.

World Language

Students may be practicing conversational Spanish or German, reading Latin texts, or building vocabulary in French or Chinese.

2:23 p.m.

Elective or Arts

Students explore their creative sides in music, art or theater. Electives offer new skills and fresh perspectives.

3:10 p.m.

Athletics & Extracurriculars

The day continues with athletic practices—football, cross country, soccer—or academic and interest-based activities like robotics, debate, and mock trial.
