The Guidance Counseling team joins teachers, coaches, and advisors in supporting boys on their journey at MBA. Whether students are managing academic pressures, personal challenges, or just need someone to talk to, our counselors are here to help them thrive—not only as students, but as young men.
We work closely with faculty and families to support each student’s well-being, helping boys:
- Build self-awareness and emotional intelligence
- Overcome academic and personal challenges
- Navigate transitions and periods of stress
- Find their place and voice within the MBA community
Our counselors also provide parents with insight, resources, and support, recognizing that student well-being is a team effort.

Our Social Awareness program is intentionally designed to help students explore important psychosocial topics such as empathy, digital responsibility, and authentic friendships. These conversations provide a foundation for personal growth, encouraging boys to reflect on who they are today and who they aspire to become. By introducing these topics at the very start of each school year, we create space for meaningful dialogue and self-reflection. Our faculty and staff walk alongside students, offering guidance and support as they navigate challenges, build character, and form relationships rooted in respect and integrity. |

Our Strength Through Knowledge (STK) Series (named from our Latin motto Fortitudo per Scientiam) gives students opportunities to explore meaningful topics that build self-awareness, resilience, and leadership. Through engaging sessions led by faculty, guest speakers, and peers, boys learn to reflect, communicate openly, and develop practical skills that support their growth. From conversations on character, wellness, and financial responsibility to discussions on community and inclusion, STK provides a foundation for confident, capable young men ready to navigate both school and life. |
