MBA's choir has a long tradition of success in competition, and this year's Mid-State and All-State auditions produced a historic showing for the program.

More than 1,500 students across the state auditioned for honors through the Middle Tennessee Vocal Association, with selected students participating in intensive regional events and performances and connecting with guest musicians at the state level. This year, 31 MBA students were named to the Mid-State Choir, and 17 earned All-State recognition. For perspective, last year 10 students made Mid-State and four made All-State.

"This is a wildly exciting achievement for our program and for our school. It is an honor to work alongside such wonderful students."

- Matt Smyth, Choir Director
