Lacrosse Leagues

Fall Lacrosse Clinics



The MBA Fall Lacrosse Clinics will take place at MBA's 42nd Avenue Fields from 6 to 7 p.m. on the following dates:

Monday, Oct. 2
Wednesday, Oct. 4
Monday, Oct. 9
Wednesday, Oct. 11
Monday, Oct. 16
Wednesday, Oct. 18
Monday, Oct. 23
**No Clinic on 10/25**
Monday, Oct. 30
Wednesday, Nov. 1
 

Players will take part in drills, skill building, and instruction each night, then finish the hour with a game. All players will be provided with a reversible jersey.

There will be two divisions: 2nd, 3rd & 4th grade, and 4th, 5th & 6th Grade. Fourth graders may choose either league based upon their experience level and/or athletic development.

The MBA High School and Middle School lacrosse staff and varsity players will conduct the drills and provide coaching.

Each player will receive a pair of lacrosse shorts at the conclusion of the program.

Equipment
Each player must provide his own helmet, gloves, shoulder pads, elbow pads, mouthpiece, and stick.

Summer Lacrosse League 2017

The MBA Summer Lacrosse League offers players of all ages the opportunity to learn the game, meet others, and compete in a laid-back atmosphere. The 2018 Schedule will be announced in January.

The league consists of four divisions (rising 3rd & 4th Grade, rising 5th & 6th Grade, rising 7th & 8th Grade, and rising 9th-11 grade) each playing two games per week.
 
Games are one hour in length and take place on Andrews Field on the MBA main campus at 4100 Harding Road. There are no additional practice times. Games will be held at the following times and locations:
 
Monday & Wednesday
4:30 and 5:30 – 7th & 8th Grade (Games alternate between time slots)
4:30 and 5:30 – 9th to 11th Grade (Games alternate between time slots)

Tuesday & Thursday
4:30 p.m. - 3rd & 4th Grade
4:30 p.m. - 5th & 6th Grade

Goalies
  • We will attempt to assign a goalie to each team.
  • If the goalie assigned to a particular team is not able to attend, goalies from other teams may fill in.
  • The league will provide goalie equipment at each field if another position would like to play in goal (the league will not compel players to play in goal).
  • If no goalies or volunteers are found, a staff member will play in goal if available
  • Shooting nets will be used as a last resort.

Spring Lacrosse League 2017

Dates for the Spring Clinic will be announced in January 2018
 
The league is for boys in grades 2 to 6, and will be split into two age groups. This league is for boys who are serious about the sport of lacrosse and are interested in working hard at their game. There will be instruction and games each week, and boys are expected to participate in both the practice and the games. They will practice for the first half with their team, then play a game for the rest of each session. Multiple coaches will be assigned to each team.

Each player must provide his own helmet, gloves, shoulder pads, elbow pads, mouthpiece, and stick.
 
Weather
