Debate Coach


Montgomery Bell Academy (MBA) seeks a full-time Debate Coach to support the Head Debate Coach in leading the school's nationally recognized policy debate program. In keeping with MBA's teacher-coach model, this position combines a teaching assignment with a substantial coaching role in a program that competes at the highest levels of interscholastic debate and is committed to pursuing national championships. Ideal candidates will ahve a strong interest in working closely with students in grades 7-12 to sharpen their research, writing, argumentation, and public speaking in a demanding but supportive environment. They will also bring high expectations and warmth to both the classroom and the debate squad room and will contribute to the broader school community. A full description and application information is available HERE.
