Time to Rise at MBA

Montgomery Bell Academy is proud to partner with Time to Rise, a Nashville-based nonprofit dedicated to helping rising 3rd–6th grade students bridge academic learning through the summer and reach their fullest potential.

Each June, MBA welcomes public school students from across Nashville for a month-long program that balances academic focus with enriching activities. In the mornings, students engage in classes taught by MBA faculty, exploring STEM, reading, civics, and communication skills.
 

Afternoons are filled with opportunities to play, discover, and grow—whether swimming, creating art, exploring technology, playing sports, or experiencing Nashville’s cultural institutions through field trips to the zoo, museums, Cheekwood, and more.

The program also builds community through mentorship. Counselors include MBA students as well as graduates of the Time to Rise program, providing students with role models who know firsthand the value of the experience.

Time to Rise at MBA concludes with a special family banquet, celebrating a month of growth, achievement, and new friendships. By combining strong academics with meaningful enrichment, the program inspires boys to approach the school year ahead with confidence, curiosity, and joy.
