Totomoi, MBA’s honorary society, tapped seven members of the Class of 2027 on Monday, officially welcoming them to the long line of extraordinary students, faculty, and friends of the school who came before them. Membership in Totomoi is considered one of the highest honors on campus.
Joining classmates who were tapped as juniors, the seven inducted in Monday's ceremony were Reid Fletcher, J.P. Newman, Jameson Ridings, William Smithwick, Charlie Willers, Van Williamson, and Brody Willis – a group whose achievements span the cross country course, the classroom, the theater stage, serving the community, and beyond.

Since 1954, Totomoi has tapped students, faculty, staff, and friends of the school twice annually—once in the fall and again in the spring—and presented each inductee with a key as a token of membership. To be considered for Totomoi, a candidate must be well-rounded and exemplify the MBA ideal of Gentleman, Scholar, Athlete. Inductees are recognized for their exceptional impact and consistent demonstration of excellence across multiple areas, including the arts, academics, athletics, debate, student government, extracurricular activities, and service.
Congratulations to all seven new members, who represent the very best of what it means to Gentleman, Scholar & Athlete!
