Mark Floyd, the 2016 recipient of the Gentleman, Scholar, Athlete Award, attends Texas A&M University on a full NROTC scholarship. During his time on The Hill, Mark thoroughly immersed himself in the MBA experience, serving in student government, writing an outdoors column for the school paper, earning medals and other recognition for wrestling and trap and skeet, and serving as Service Project Manager for the Wounded Warrior Project fundraiser that resulted in nearly $10,000 in donations to that organization. Mark credits his dedicated teachers, a broad educational experience in and outside the classroom and time management skills learned at MBA for preparing him for success at the university level. Mark had this to share about the school “MBA is a special place. The level of intellect, integrity, honor, and leadership at MBA is unparalleled, and I am proud to have had the honor of attending such a phenomenal institution. There is no other place like The Hill."
