MBA wrestlers finish 3rd place at state duals

State Duals: Having finished as the #2 team in the East Region, we were placed in the bracket against Father Ryan (#1 from West Region) in the semifinals. Ultimately falling short of our goal to be state dual champions, we finished 3rd place. In a tightly contested match against Father Ryan, the team fell to the Irish 35-27. They battled hard, it just wasn’t our day. What says a lot about this team is how they responded afterward. Within only about 5 minutes after the loss, the wrestlers had to turn around and wrestle for 3rd. They showed tremendous grit and character, beating Christian Brothers in dominant fashion. I'm incredibly proud of what the boys have achieved this year (with more accomplishments to come!!).
