Big Red opens season with an impressive win

In blustery and unsettled conditions, the MBA junior school tennis team got their season off to a great start with a 5-0 victory at USN. Although the wind made controlling shots difficult, the Big Red were able to adapt well to the conditions and chalk up an impressive victory. Hugh Graham won the No. 1 singles 8-0, with Matthew Bulow (8-1) and Jackson McFadden (8-3) bringing in the other two singles points. Ben Elasy and Mike Miccioli ran out 8-2 winners in the no. 1 doubles game, and the sweep was completed by Thomas Carr and Gibby Gibson, who won their match 8-3. Next up is FRA on Monday followed by a tough trip to Brentwood Academy two days later. Hopefully, we will be able to build on this excellent start to the season!
