MBA 8th Grade Wins Home Opener over Knox Fulton
The MBA 8th Grade Football team won its home opener 34-8 Saturday over Knox Fulton. The offense rolled early and often with two 1st quarter rushing touchdowns from Mike Lacey, and one in the 2nd quarter by CJ Sanders. Sanders also scored on an interception and a fumble recovery return. Derrick Tusie and TJ Jefferson also ran the ball hard. Defensively it was a total team effort to shut down a bigger, physical Fulton squad. Davis Luster also kicked the ball well all day and controlled special teams and field position. The Big Red next looks to a very challenging Mt. Juliet Middle School team Thursday at home at 6 pm.
