MBA Wins HVAC Title!
MBA defeated a stout USN on Thursday 37-31 to win the HVAC title. The boys got off to a jittery start and had some early foul trouble as USN jumped out to a 8-1 lead at the end of the 1Q. Once the Big Red got comfortable, the team was able to turn many good defensive possessions into transition points on the other end and finished the 1st half tied at 15-15. Momentum continued throughout the 2nd half as MBA stretched the lead to as many as 9 points in the 4Q before settling to a 6 point win.
This was a well-deserved win by the Big Red as USN came out sharp (14-16 from the foul line), we had early foul trouble. Marcel Reed led MBA with 11 points while Jackson Francis added 10.
