Big Red Down Eagles

The JV basketball team defeated BA on Thursday night 64-56. The Big Red trailed by as many as ten in the second quarter and before responding with a better defensive effort to take a two point halftime lead. From there, the Big Red never trailed in the second frame and did a great job protecting the lead late. Nine of the ten healthy players scored, but the engine of the offense was Loni Pughsley, who poured in 23 points. Wyatt Stimart added 12 despite battling foul trouble.
