Varsity Track & Field Wins City; Jack Wallace breaks fifth school record

MBA took home its 13th consecutive Nashville City Championship last night from Harpeth Hall's Dugan Davis Track. Jack Wallace also put his name on MBA's record board for the fifth time with a new school 800m record.

†Jack broke the 800m school record set in 2019 by Graham Ragsdale (1:55.03). At one point last night, the current and past two school record holders for the 800m were in attendance: Jack Wallace '25, Graham Ragsdale '19, and Jeff Snyder '04. Jack's name is now on MBA's school record board five times: 1600m (2024), 800m (2025), 4 x 800m Relay (2023), Mid-DMR (2025), and DMR (2024).
 
MBA next hosts the Metro Freshman Championship on Monday and a home meet against Ravenwood, Donelson Christian Academy, and JPII on Wednesday at McDaniel Track.
