MBA outlasts McCallie

The Big Red basketball team outlasted McCallie 66-58 in Currey gym to hand the Blue Tornado their first loss in the league.  After trailing by one at the end of the first, a big 2nd quarter saw MBA take a 28-19 halftime lead.  The Big Red maintained that lead throughout most of the second half and converted free throws to seal the victory.  Duncan Smith led the way with 23, followed by Elliott Morrissey and Jermaine Francis with 14 apiece, and Alex Bars chipped in 9. 

No rest for the weary, as the Big Red are back in action tomorrow night at BA in another important league match-up.
