Big Red Falls Despite Strong Effort

Despite pushing across an early run in the top of the 1st, the Big Red left three runners on base and did not manage to score again until the top of the 7th. Though MBA outhit BA to the tune of 7 to 5, BA came up with timely hits in two strike counts. The Big Red showed lots of promise in the field and at the plate, but poorly timed errors ultimately cost the game. Jack Heflin, Brenden Harris, and Brady Slinger each recorded two hits in the game.
