Lions Down Big Red

MBA's Microbe B baseball team had a tough loss in its season opener against CPA. After an early 2-0 lead for MBA the Lions regained their footing and earned an 8-3 win. The Big Red showed some positive signs in pitching and hitting: Nicky Bennett opened the game and in 3 innings threw 5 Ks and allowed only 1 hit. Khol Hedgepath came in for 2 innings and threw 3 Ks. Peyton Philips closed out with 2 innings and 2 Ks. Kayman Cooke hit 2 singles, stole a base and scored a run. William "Yellerman" Holleman earned a hit, Carson Mire hit a double and Chainsaw Jablonski earned a single on a fielder's choice.
