MBA is pleased to announce that Maxx Lipman has been hired as the school's Varsity Tennis Coach. He will begin his new role when school resumes in August. Mike Davidson, who led the Big Red to state titles in 2017 and 2018, and a runner-up finish this season, has been named MBA's Tennis Director and will oversee the program from grades 7-12.
"MBA is thrilled to have Maxx join our tennis program. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his new role. I am excited to see how well he relates to our players and helps them to develop on and off the court," said MBA Headmaster Brad Gioia.
Lipman joins MBA after a highly successful scholastic career, including a number 1 national junior ranking and 2013 TSSAA state titles in singles and the team competition. He continued his tennis career at the University of Florida, where he made the SEC All-Freshman team and the conference Academic Honor Roll several times.
Lipman graduated from Cum Laude from Florida, majoring in Sport Management and minoring in Business Administration. He also graduated Magna Cum Laude at the University of Nottingham, England with a Master's degree in Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Management.
