State Decathlon Results

The Decathlon portion of the TSSAA DII-AA Track & Field State Championship took place yesterday and today at Brentwood Academy. MBA had three athletes competing: Jack Perry, Trey Polley, and Cruz Clifton.
 
Final results:
3rd: Jack Perry (earning 6 team points; 6,464 dec. points)
15th: Trey Polley
18th: Cruz Clifton
 
Highlights:
*Jack Perry again vaulted 16' (matching his PR and the MBA school record)
*Trey Polley jumped 23' in the long jump (new PR; new freshman MBA school record; #3 all-time at MBA, and 4" from MBA school record)
*Cruz Clifton ran a PR in the 110m hurdles (16.66)
MBA next competes on Wednesday, May 22, at MTSU for the rest of the field and running events of the TSSAA DII-AA Track & Field State Championship.
