For the second time this year, the MBA 7th grade lacrosse team tested their skills by playing a predominantly 8th grade "A" team. In a very physical game, the Big Red defense did a great job of denying several scoring opportunities, and Ian Sharbel had his best game of the season in goal. Down 2-1 at halftime, MBA stormed back as Paul Van Pernis added a quick goal to begin the second half. Hayes McCord scored his second goal of the evening to put the Big Red up 3-2 heading into the final minutes of the game. Hendersonville tied the game with just over a minute remaining in regulation, and scored :15 into the overtime period giving MBA their second loss of the season to an "A" team. MBA hosts USN at 42nd Avenue on Wednesday.
