Playing their first game on the new field turf at Tommy Owen Stadium, the Big Red jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead with goals by Jack Keller and Clay Adams. Not discouraged, the MUS Owls fought back and took a 3-2 lead with two minutes remaining in the game. Playing down a man and without possession of the ball, MBA rolled the dice and pressured the ball with the goalie in an attempt to get the ball and score to tie the game up. Unfortunately, MUS beat the double team by passing to a cutting middie who scored as time ran out to make the final score 4-2.
