Big Red move to 4-2 with win over BGA

MBA moved its record to 4-2 after a 46-43 win over BGA Friday evening in Currey gym.  After a hot start in the first quarter, both teams cooled off in the second to close the half with MBA leading 22-20.  Although leading throughout, the Big Red could never put away a fiesty BGA team.  Missed free throws down the stretch prevented MBA from putting the game away, and BGA's desparation 3 to tie at the buzzer came up short.

MBA had 8 players scratch the scoring column with Holden Mobley leading the way with 15.  Joseph Sloan chipped in 8, Luke Colbert added 7, and William Davis scored 6 for the Big Red.  

MBA will next be in action after exams on Thursday and Friday in the Trickett Honda Holiday Classic at MBA.  The Big Red will take on Wilson Central Thursday night at 7:30.  Come support your Big Red basketball team!
