MBA Completes Season With 16-1 Record

The MBA 7th grade basketball team completed their season with another decisive road victory over the DCA Wildcats by the score of 46-35. The Big Red found themselves down by three to the hot shooting Wildcats after the first half, but was able to go on a great run in the second half due to a relentless defensive press. Andrew Einstmann was able to turn the DCA turnovers into layups on his way to a game high 14 points. Alex Smith played his best game of the season as he was able to find the holes in the Wildcat zone to score 10 points. John Bachmann added 8 points to the effort. The 7th graders season is now complete with a final record of 16-1. The lone loss on the season came to the Mt. Juliet 8th grade team in the quarterfinals of the Overbrook Classic in December. The team recorded two wins over future Division II rivals BGA, Ensworth, and Brentwood Academy. Congratulations to the all the boys!
