8th Grade Falls in Championship Game

The 8th grade basketball team finished a very successful season by earning a second place finish in the HVAC tournament Wednesday night. Going up against an undefeated BA squad, the Big Red executed a tremendous first half, going into the locker room down 18-15. Clutch baskets from Will Campbell, John Bachman and Clint Smith, and tremendous effort from Andrew Einstman and Dylan Hall, kept the team in it in the second half, until the Eagles finally pulled away in the end. The Big Red finished with a 12-6 record on the season, and look ahead to being major contributors in the High School program. The team would like to thank all the faculty and students that came out and supported the team throughout the season.
