Cross Country Faces Elite National Teams

The MBA Harriers traveled to Cary, NC, this past weekend where they joined almost two thousand high school runners from eighteen states for the National Scholastic Foundation Great America Cross Country Festival. The varsity squad ran in the elite Race of Champions and finished fourteenth in the field of twenty-one teams. All seven runners clocked personal best times as the Big Red were once again led by junior Michael Peters; Daniel Peters, Hayes McCord, Alex Smith, and Andrew Powell finished out the top five. The JV runners finished fourth out of fourteen teams in their race and were led by sophomores Daniel Mace and David Arteaga. The team is grateful to the MBA Athletics Department and to the parents who made the trip possible. Run, Red, Run!
