John Kelly, Sam Papel and Tracey Mathis bring home the gold.

Our freshmen and JV wrestlers competed in the Middle Tennessee Wrestling City Championships over the weekend.  The freshmen did very well winning most of their matches.  Bringing home the gold medal for the freshmen was John Kelly at 195 lbs.  Getting the silver was D'On Coofer.  Winning the bronze medal for 3rd place was Carter Heckle and earning the bronze medal for 4th place was Stephen Richey.  Finishing in the top 6 of their weight class were Alex Hilburn, Sam Sulllivan, Harold Turks and JC Fogg. 
In the JV division, Sam Papel and Tracey Mathis both won the tournament, while DJ Clark finished 2nd,  Charles Hunter finished 3rd place while Jack Goodrum and Chad Mitchell both finished 4th.  Congratulations to our wrestlers.
