Big Red down Bears

Despite rusty football players and exam legs, the Big Red basketball team was able to outlast Antioch on the road Saturday evening.  After a good start, the Big Red never trailed.  A strong 3rd quarter stretched an 8 pt halftime lead to 18 early in the 4th.  Some sloppy play down the stretch allowed Antioch to close the final margin.  John Hazen led in scoring with 12, followed by Jermaine Franis and Parker Bryan with 10 each, Joe McKinney with 9, and Greg Quesinberry and Jordan Wilson with 7 each.  The Big Red are in action again next Friday at home against MICDS from St. Louis.
