Ty Chandler Named Finalist for Mr. Football Award

Senior running back Ty Chandler added to his long list of impressive honors by being named one of two finalists for the Mr. Football Award for Division II-AA backs for the state of Tennessee. This season, Chandler has rushed for over 1,900 yards and 35 touchdowns for the top seeded Big Red team.

The other finalist for the award is McCallie quarterback Robert Riddle. Chandler is looking to repeat as the winner after being named Mr. Football in 2015.

MBA faces Ensworth this Friday night at 7:00 p.m. at Tommy Owen Stadium in the semi-final round of the playoffs.
