Varsity Tennis Starts Season With 5-2 Win Over BHS

MBA's varsity tennis team started off the season with a 5-2 victory over a good Brentwood High School team. MBA's #1 doubles team of George Harwell and Matthew Bulow lost 8-4 to a very strong BHS doubles squad but MBA was still able to snag the doubles point by winning at #2 doubles (Ben Ramon and Frist Allen) 8-3 and at #3 doubles (John Morphett and Hugh Graham) 8-2. MBA won at #1 singles (George Harwell) 6-2, 6-1, #3 singles (Matthew Bulow) 6-1, 6-2, #4 singles (John Morphett) 6-3, 6-2 and at #5 singles (Hugh Graham) 6-2, 6-0. The team gets one day off before competing in the DecoTurf Tournament in Chattanooga the first two days of Spring Break.
