MBA Wins First League Match at BA

MBA won its first league match of the year on Tuesday against BA. The team did not lose a doubles or singles match en route to a 7-0 victory. George Harwell showed exceptional feel and hustle in his 6-0, 6-1 victory, Matthew Bulow fought hard to beat a strong #2 singles player 6-1, 6-2, John Morphett's ground strokes showed real improvement in his 6-0, 6-3 win, Hugh Graham showcased his net play in a 6-0, 6-0 win, Cole Thornton found his form from the baseline in a 6-1, 6-0 win and Frist Allen cruised at 6 singles to a 6-0, 6-0 victory. In addition, doubles teams showed improved chemistry and aggressiveness from top to bottom. MBA will have a couple days of practice before competing in the Rotary Tournament on Friday and Saturday in Chattanooga.
