MBA Tops Ensworth 7-0

MBA improved to 3-0 in region play on Thursday by defeating Ensworth 7-0. MBA took the doubles point with an 8-0 victory at 2 doubles by Sims Lance and John Morphett and an 8-3 win at 1 doubles by George Harwell and Matthew Bulow. For good measure, Hugh Graham and Frist Allen also won soon after at 3 doubles by a score of 8-2. MBA showed its great depth with straight set victories at 3 singles by Baylor Sai, 4 singles by John Morphett, 5 singles by Hugh Graham and 6 singles by Frist Allen. George Harwell and Matthew Bulow both won the first set and lost the second set and both found a way to dig deep to pull out the third set supebreaker to complete the sweep for the Big Red. MBA has no days to recover as the team hits the road for Chattanooga to play Baylor at Baylor Friday at 4 PM.
