Baylor
Thursday afternoon the 8th Grade Football team faced the best Baylor middle school team I can remember. The Big Red defense played one of its best halves of the year to open the game, chopping down bigger Baylor runners and forcing one fumble. Timely offense, especially hard nosed running from RB Zane Thompson and QB Colin Kerrigan, got us just shy of the end zone, and then Kerrigan delivered a strike to Claiborne Richards for a score. With the score 6-6 at halftime, this was the kind of game we expected.

Baylor received the 2nd half kickoff, and the highlights mostly stopped for the Big Red. Baylor's size and speed became too much, and momentum quickly shifted. Final score was 44-14.
