MBA Falls to Ryan 0-1

Despite outworking and outpassing a solid Father Ryan squad, the JV Reds did not have the finishing touch today; hitting the post twice and coming close on numerous other occasions.  Ryan were opportunistic, and in an aggressive attempt to clear the ball, their defender smashed what turned out to be a perfect 45 yard shot over our keeper and into the upper corner of our net with 10 minutes left.

 

The boys put in a shift that would typically bring about a positive result, but it was not to be on this day.  Regardless, the team is rounding into top form, playing some of the best ball of the year.

 

The goal now is to dispatch the alumni in a yearly classic before Endada tomorrow before wrapping up the season versus Valor and Pope Prep.  Wins in all three matches would give us double digit wins on the year.
