MBA Wins Nicholas Caroland Memorial Tournament

MBA faced a tough and determined Brentwood Lacrosse Club B team in the final of the Nicholas Caroland Memorial Tournament.  Hayes McCord took the opening face off down the field and scored to put MBA up 1-0 less than 15 seconds into the contest.  Brentwood retaliated to even the score, and then scored again to go up 2-1.  Another MBA goal by Christian Alford tied the game before Brentwood took the lead again 3-2 just before the half.  MBA's outstanding defensive play in the second half kept the ball in the hands of the offense.  Harrison Mathews, Hayes McCord, and Clay Garrett added goals to make the score 5-3.  Brentwood scored with 1:00 remaining, but MBA won the following face off and retained possession until time expired to give them the 5-4 win.
